Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 29, 2026

Site Intelligence (“Site Intelligence,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides software for managing construction project documents. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using our website or product, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

  • Account information. Name, email address, and the firm or organization you belong to, collected when an account is created or you are invited to one.
  • Content you provide. Documents, project data, and other materials you or your firm upload to the product, which may contain personal information about your employees, clients, or third parties.
  • Authentication data. We use cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to protect your session.
  • Usage and device information. Basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used to operate and secure the service.

How we use information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the product.
  • To authenticate users and secure accounts and data.
  • To process and analyze documents you upload, including using automated and AI-assisted features to extract, search, and summarize content within your firm's workspace.
  • To respond to support requests and communicate with you.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

AI and automated processing

Our product uses automated and AI-assisted features to process the documents and data within your firm's workspace. We do not use your content to train third-party foundation models. Where we rely on third-party AI providers to deliver these features, we do so under agreements that restrict their use of your data to providing the service to us. This restriction concerns third-party providers; how Site Intelligence itself uses your content to operate and improve its own features is described in Service improvement and model training below.

Service improvement and model training

We use customer content — the documents and project data you upload — and the AI outputs generated from it to operate, maintain, and improve the Services, including refining the prompts and automated workflows that power our features. We may also use this content to train and improve Site Intelligence's own machine-learning models and classifiers.

This first-party use is distinct from the third-party AI providers described above. While we do not permit those third-party providers to train their foundation models on your content, where Site Intelligence trains or improves its own models and classifiers, it may use your content to do so. Any models or classifiers we train are used only to provide and improve the Services; they are not designed to compete with you or your firm.

Where we train our own models or classifiers, we will use de-identified or aggregated data and will design these systems so that one customer's content is not exposed to another customer. If you have a separate written agreement with us that addresses the use of your content, the terms of that agreement control to the extent they conflict with this section.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the service:

  • Within your firm. Content is accessible to authorized users of the same firm or organization.
  • Service providers. Hosting, storage, email, and AI-processing vendors that act on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
  • Legal and safety. Where required by law, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You or your firm administrator may request deletion of your account and associated data.

Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encrypted transport, access controls, and tenant isolation between firms. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended) gives you the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect and how we use it.
  • Request access to or deletion of your personal information.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@siteintelligence.ai.

Cookies

We use cookies that are strictly necessary to operate the product, primarily to keep you signed in and to protect your session against fraud and abuse. We do not use advertising cookies.

Children's privacy

Our product is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate.
